.Name virtually untouched I was really surprised to see the names still available in the .name extension. My understanding is that it's for peoples names. As we've witnessed with the other TLD'S, it doesn't seem to matter it's intended purpose since good generic (premium) domain names in any extension seem to have value.
To give you an example, here are some of the names I found available and purchased just this weekend. Lakers.name, alarms.name, PhoneCards.name, MemoryCard.name, Grapes.name, Hamburgers.name, Satellites.name, VisaCards.name.
Since many peoples initials are (3) letters I was very surprised to see the many (3) letter variations still available. So I snapped up a few of them as well which were Def.name, Fjj.name, and ids.name.
I recommend investing some time searching for and purchasing some premium .name domains while there are still many available. This would be an investment that I believe will pay off nicely between now and the next (4) years. |
