A generically named domain providing educational services has announced it is to expand

its services due to popularity and customer demand.

Tutor.com, a site that provides online tutoring from qualified industry professionals, is

to take its services to 24 hours a day, seven days a week following a period of sustained

growth over the past year.

The site offers what the company claims is "the largest online tutoring service" available

on the web and it is demand for this dedicated service that the company's founder, George

Cigale, states has led to the decision to increase its operating hours.

"Since we launched our on-demand consumer service last year, parents and students have

been asking us to expand our hours to better serve their needs for access to tutors around

the clock," he said.

During 2007, Tutor.com has overseen more than 840,000 one-to-one tutoring sessions and

predicts that this will grow to over one million during 2008.
